Your city. One Teleport away.
Clear fares. Local drivers. More possibility.
Fare breakdown Illustrative
Driver offer is 80% of the transport component, not 80% of what the rider pays. The effective platform take is shown per trip so nobody is surprised later.

Help when it matters
Staffed safety support during every pilot hour.
Join the rider waitlist
The Wilmington pilot opens to a small area with published hours. We'll tell you when rides open near you. No spam, no sharing your email.
- Join the list. Tell us where you usually go.
- We open a zone. Small area, real drivers, staffed support.
- You ride. Upfront fare, pickup PIN, live tracking.
Not in the first release: airport pickups, pooled rides, subscriptions, unaccompanied minors.
Drive on your terms
See the full offer before you accept: pickup distance, trip time, destination and your gross earnings. Appeals are decided by a human with evidence access.
Sample offer Illustrative
| Trip | 6.0 mi • 18 min |
| Transport component | $14.60 |
| Your offer (80% of transport) | $11.68 |
| Rider pays | $16.30 |
| Effective platform take | 28.3% |
Gross, before fuel, insurance, idle and pickup time. Short trips carry a higher take (up to ~39% on a 1-mile trip); the final driver pay policy, including pickup pay and minimums, is not set yet.
Earnings estimator Illustrative
Assumptions, shown so you can argue with them: avg speed 20 mph in town, 2 unpaid pickup miles and 6 unpaid minutes per trip, vehicle cost $0.35/mi (fuel, wear, insurance share), no tips, no surge. Pickup pay and minimum guarantees are not decided yet. This is not a wage offer.
What you'll need before the pilot
- Valid license, eligible vehicle, inspection and insurance documents
- Background screening by a licensed provider
- A smartphone that can run the driver app (Milestone 3)
Help when it matters
Safety features below describe the pilot design. None are live in this preview. Emergencies always go to 911 through your phone, never through a chatbot.
Before the ride
- Driver photo, name, vehicle and plate shown before pickup
- Pickup PIN: the trip can't start without it
- Masked phone numbers for calls and texts
During the ride
- Live tracking with a visible "last updated" time
- Share-trip link that expires when the trip ends
- Route-deviation alerts reviewed by staff, not auto-penalized
If something goes wrong
- Call 911 from the device, one tap
- Staffed urgent-help line during every pilot hour
- Human-decided appeals for riders and drivers
Our commitments
- A trained human is on duty every published service hour. We will not market Teleport as "no human oversight".
- Bots can flag a problem; they cannot decide a safety case, deactivate anyone or move money.
- Service-animal and accessibility support are baseline requirements, not premium add-ons.
- Zero-tolerance policy for harassment and discrimination, with a documented complaint process.
Questions, answered honestly
Can I book a ride today?
Are the fares real?
Where will Teleport operate?
How are drivers paid?
Is Teleport related to the earlier Teleport / TRIP app?
What do the bots do?

Get in touch
For the pilot, support is staffed during published hours. For an emergency, call 911.
Contact
Support email, phone and hours will be published when the pilot opens. The form here saves a case in preview storage so the flow can be tested; it does not email anyone.
Legal & privacy Draft — counsel review required
- Privacy notice (draft): we collect email, ZIP and contact details you give us, with your consent, to contact you about the pilot. We do not sell data. Location data is collected only during a trip once the apps exist.

New rate versions are proposed as a diff with backtested quotes attached and approved by Wu. The pricing-analyst bot may propose; it may not approve.
